Failure is not an Option

Well, this is the owner of the site, who did finally quit dipping Copenhagen over a year ago, but chose to replace the dip with smoking. I am using the cold turkey method and am 12 hours nicotine free. I have lots of great content for the new year on dipping, so stand by and come back often!

I have been chewing nicorette gum for several years now. I want people out there to be careful about using the gum to stop another habit because it is highly addictive. I just wanted to post that I am day 6 with NO gum. I have finally quit the gum because I read on another blog that long term use causes hair loss. That is all I needed to hear and I was done immediately.

Hang in there to everyone fighting an addition. You can overcome it. It is all a matter of CHOICE! You can choose to keep doing it or choose to stop. It is that simple. Good Luck and God Bless!

    RaeJean,

First of all congrats on day 6! You are so right about the gum, and really any nicotine replacement therapy. I am reading a great book that I found in preparation for this quit, called Freedom from Nicotine – The Journey Home by John Polito. I will post the links in a new post today, but you can find the free download link by googling the title.

Thanks for the post and good luck!
